Are you obliged to visit foreign police?
Students from EU-countries do not need a visa to study in Slovakia. Therefore, they don’t need to visit foreign police. You may not be coming from one of the EU countries, but that does not necessarily mean that you will need a visa. You can check here whether you are from one of the countries, which the SR has signed a bilateral agreement on No-VISA entry with.
Košice foreign police is located on the first floor in the building with the address:

Making a reservation to Foreign police
It is possible to make a reservation for temporary residence on their website. You can pick a date and time that is suitable for you when making a reservation. After successfully creating a reservation, you will be assigned a PIN code. At the time of reservation, come to the office of the Foreign Police Department at the touch terminal and use the PIN code and the instructions on the screen to print the ticket. The recall of your ticket number will be displayed on the terminal.
In case of a serious situation like a worsening Covid pandemic situation, if you make an appointment online, your documents are valid even if they will be older than 90 days on the appointment date.
Note: Some officers at foreign police don't speak English. Therefore, it is good to ask your buddy for help. If you want your buddy to go with you, let him know at least 4 day before. At best, talk to him before the reservation of your appointment.
