My "Erasmus" life in Kosice really felt like living the dream. It is way too difficult to describe what it's like being in a foreign country without any people you know whatsoever and all of a sudden you start feeling at home surrounded by friends from all over the world like one big international family! It is the most valuable experience everyone should have a moment like this in his life.

Erasmus was my first opportunity of going abroad. I had interesting experiences, got accustomed to a new school and evaluation system, met ESN members that helped me and guided me, as well as people from all over the world.

Erasmus was great experience. The only problem was a library and the charges for some things like ISIC card etc. plus the accommodation (Kitchens). We very appreciate the work of dr. Marta Sendekova and other employees of the university.

Great experience, beautifull country, the old town of Kosice - amazing. I've met a lot of people from different countries. We had free time filled by ESN ideas, really nice one. Decision to choose Slovakia as Erasmus scholarship was very good. :)

The Erasmus was perfect. The buddies took care about us and made great parties. Exams weren´t difficult and the courses were interesting. I reccomended Erasmus to my friends.

Erasmus has the ability to change or improve people's life's. You're in touch with a whole new different place, culture and traditions. You get to know yourself better and you have the opportunity to develop your own self. If you're not adventurous, you'll learn to be it; if you think you're not ready to be involved in new things, you will lose the fear; and you will see yourself in a new environment and you begin to call it home. You'll make new friends, visit new places, share experiences, be in touch with different cultures, experience new traditions, you'll live as much as you can and in the end you'll consider it the best experience of your life.

Really, I have to say that It was the best period of my life. I met some of my best friends for life, not only from my country, but friends that I know I will have forever, from everywhere, and I know I will have to visit them because I miss all of them really a lot. Actually, I met the LOVE of my life there, and we always will remember Kosice like our real city.
The people that helped me when I first arrived was amazing. Meggy and Zuzanna were really really amazing, they did everthing for our confort and knowledge about the city, the country, the language, traditions...I felt like home since the very first day. They organized parties, journeys and lots of activities for all of us in order to meet each other and to have fun.
Academically, I have to say that I learnt more than in my University in Spain. I had to study a lot but I really recognize that I was very nice to me because I grew up. Basically, I learnt to study in my Erasmus year (It is rare but true).
Finally, and repeating about friends, not only friends but cultures, languages and CONVIVENCE. I matured in all aspects, I had to live in the same dormitory with people from several countries and different cultures, and everybody learnt about EVERYBODY. All of us knew all about the others (traditions, culture, language...) and all of us respected everyone. That was the best. The people, the friends...
So, I really think about my Erasmus life, Kosice, and friends each day of my life. I really do.
Thank you for all.

I had a really good experience, met a lot of new people all over the world and travell a lot. At first it took a while to get used to the slovak habits but at the end we were really happy with everything. It was an amazing year.

My Erasmus experience was unforgetable. At first, Slovakia was shocking. Different cultures, and different backround, made it harder to know the city and its people.
But, once settled, kosice, upjs, esn, and other people made the city much kore appealing and friendly. After a year in Kosice I Was able to make friends and learn some words of Slovak.
Now I can say that slovakia (kosice) was my home for a year, and for sure, one day, i will come back!

My Erasmus experience in Kosice was the BEST 6 months of my life so far!!!
Different culture, language, climate, habits, all this was a chalenge to learn, appreciate and mature a lot!
For me, living in the students dormitory with all the other Erasmus people was the best part, we learnt so much about each others language, culture, music and of course FOOD of other countries :P
Also, ESN girls were so helpful and adorable, i will always remember especially my sweet Zuzka, my helpful Andrea and our best guide to the trip ever, Dominica :D
Academically, is was easier for me than my home university, even though it was in English and not in my native language.
We met friends for a lifetime, some of us fell in love, and i can say that this was OUR HOME for the time we spent there, so we will go back one day.
Until then, Kosice DO TOHO!!! ;)

The Erasmus experience is unforgetable for me. I feel like Kosice is my second home and the friends I ve made will stay in my heart forever. I hope to see each and everyone of them somewhere around the world. Coming back home was difficult at first, but then it gets easier. Sometimes I miss my life there and I wish I had a chance to live it for one more day. But life goes on, and I hope that there are many things to come as good as this beautiful 5 months of my life.

Well, Erasmus is a period of studying when we are able to have the greatest experiences
and in my opinion, everything I got there refers to this idea. Kosice is small city in
comparison where I live but I think it is one of the most ideal cities for Erasmus. It is from
viewpoint of location, financial things etc. ESN works really well and cares about you all the
time. Who knows, your buddy might be a die-hard rap listener and you go to concerts there
all the time. But come on, the best memories happen like this…with your buddies, in a trip
with your friends.
The thing that attracted me to go to Kosice was its status to be very close to many European
capitals and important/beautiful cities like Vienna. I think you spotted this, and it's cheap as
well. After some time living in Kosice I realised the feeling that Kosice feels me like home.
When I was travelling, I was always looking forward to come back to Kosice and when I was
back from another trip I always said to myself:„ Yes, it was nice trip, but finally I am back
home, back to Kosice.“ It is nice feeling to have when living abroad. And, to sum up, I would
like to thank to all who did deal with us and cared about us there. You should not miss this
chance to meet these beautiful people. Take care. Dovidenia!

Erasmus in Kosice was the greatest experience in my life! I attended 2 semesters, from
September 2016 to June 2017. I am an Italian Medical student and Erasmus was very useful to
improve my practical skills. Kosice is a very nice town, I loved the centre, full of historical and
coloured buildings, cafes and good restaurants. It is a quiet and secure town, I recommend it.
There are many interesting places to visit around too, nature and mountains. The ESN members
were great with us: they helped, organized many activities and projects, so we were not alone!
I recommend Erasmus in Kosice, as it is in an ideal position to visit other countries and European
capitals too. People could seem not so friendly at the beginning, but whenever you need help or
information, they will be committed to helping you. If you want to study abroad and feel like in a
big family, this is the right place.

My Erasmus was greater than I expected. I learned not only new things about Slovakia, I also learned
a lot about many other countries, even of my own country! Erasmus has been like a surrealistic
world in which nothing matters, everything would be alright (like the song ), you can be yourself
and let it flow. In other words you feel FREE. And Košice...not Kosiče! is the perfect place to do it.
You can breathe in High Tatras, you can eat in Med Malina and you can drink in Colloseum, in the
best company, your roomates and your ESN buddy. Košice was great, Erasmus was extreme great.
The best six months ever in my life.
